With the right exercises and a clear plan, you can gradually get closer to your dream of the perfect beach body.

Strength training is often mistakenly associated with extreme bodybuilding, but this is far from the truth. Today, targeted muscle training is an indispensable part of the modern fitness world, and for good reasons. Muscle not only has aesthetic benefits, but also fulfills important health functions. The positive effects of strength training include:

Regular exercise with weights, machines or your own body weight strengthens bone density and reduces the risk of fractures. In addition, strength training plays an important role in the prevention of osteoporosis.
The passive musculoskeletal system, such as ligaments, tendons and joints, also becomes more resilient and resistant through consistent training.
Strength training also strengthens the cardiovascular system, which helps lower blood pressure, similar to endurance training.
Building muscle also burns a lot of calories because muscles constantly need energy. This makes strength training an effective way to reduce body fat.
Muscles also help keep the body lean, as every gram of muscle burns calories even when you are at rest. If you exercise regularly, you will burn extra calories even when you are relaxing in front of the TV.

There are many different training plans for strength training. However, when you're starting out, it makes little sense to choose a complex split plan where muscle groups are divided into different training sessions. For beginners, it's more about learning basic movements, improving coordination and building a solid base of strength. In this case, a full-body plan is the best choice, where the entire body is trained in one day.

Such a plan is typically performed three times a week and is ideal for making progress in the first six months. Once you have established a stable foundation, you can switch to a split plan. The most well-known split plan is the 2-split, which can be used as both an upper body/lower body plan and a push/pull plan. Other body divisions such as the 3- or 4-split are only useful for very advanced athletes.

The combination of strength and endurance training is an excellent method for a fit and healthy body. Anyone who wants to lose fat will particularly benefit from this combination. After an intensive strength training session, the glycogen stores in the body are already largely depleted, so the body increasingly draws on stored fat during the subsequent cardio training. However, there is no general answer to the question of how long you should do cardio after strength training. It depends on how much energy you still have and how much fun you have with the endurance training. As a rule, however, it should be at least 20 to 30 minutes to achieve the desired effect.

You get a lot of bang for your buck with this exercise bike. The screen mirroring works great and the huge monitor & speakers is a great touch. I can easily crank out about 8 miles or so per 20 min session, & more on a 30 min session. I bought an annual subscription to the Yesoul Fitness app, and normally just run open world 20 & 30 min courses. This bike does work with other apps just fine, but I prefer the Yesoul Fitness app, or just watch You tube videos while riding. I have stuck with it every day, and getting my miles in before breakfast every day has worked out well, and I feel better for it. This bike is built well, it is quiet, and everything works well as advertised. I especially like the magnetic resistance. I'm very pleased with this bike, and when compared to much more expensive models, it's a smart purchase in my opinion.

I honestly didn¡¯t expect much at this price, but this thing is a beast. Super sturdy, smooth, and the screen mirroring works exactly like people say. I run while watching Netflix or YouTube and it never lags. Best purchase I¡¯ve made this year.
